Edwardian Natural Pearl & Diamond Ring, circa 1910
An arrestingly beautiful antique pearl ring. The central button shaped pearl – certified as natural (not cultured) displays a lovely creamy lustre. A total of twenty eight eight-cut diamonds surround the pearl in an octagonal shaped surround, with fine milgrained vented detailing, leading to a slim platinum shank.
Accompanied by a pearl report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the pearl is natural, saltwater.
Cut – The diamonds are eight cuts.
Colour – The diamonds are E to F.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – A total approximate diamond weight of 0.44 carat.
Circa – 1910.
Size – I 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The pearl is approximately 5.3 x 5.2mm. The head of the ring is 12.45 x 12.6mm and sits 5.75mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
