Edwardian Natural Pearl & Diamond Ring, circa 1910
An achingly pretty Edwardian pearl ring. The natural saltwater pearl sits between two high white and bright old European cut diamonds which are rubover set in platinum, and ‘float’ within a platinum surround. A further four rose cut diamonds are set between the pearl and the old European cuts. in a central panel which itself ‘floats’ within a platinum halo. Pretty engraving in the yellow gold gallery leads to a slim 18k gold shank.
Cut – The two larger diamonds are old European cuts, with four rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The old European cuts are VS1 to VS2. The rose cuts are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The two main diamonds are approximately 0.10 carat each, with a further approximate 0.02 carat of rose cuts.
Circa – 1910.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 14.4 x 8.7mm and sits 5.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
