Edwardian Old Cut Diamond & Demantoid Garnet Ring, circa 1910
A sublime vintage ring. This stunner, which we believe was converted from an original Edwardian pin brooch, features a platinum diamond daisy cluster set with bright, white and internally clean old mine cut diamonds. Half moon crescents featuring five demantoid garnets accent the central cluster. On a slim 14k rose gold shank which, for 3/5 of the band, is capped in platinum.
Cut – Old mine cut diamonds and calibré step cut garnets.
Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The central diamond is approximately 0.08 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.18. The total approximate garnet weight is 0.13 carat
Circa – 1910.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond cluster is 5.25mm in diameter and sits 3.9mm from the finger.
Metal – The band is 14k rose gold with platinum. The diamond cluster is platinum. The garnet accents are 14k yellow gold. All metals tested.
