Edwardian Old Cut Diamond & Natural Pearl Drop Earrings, circa 1910
Seriously, seriously stunning. At the top of the earrings is a trio of old cut diamonds set in platinum, from which dangles a diamond and pearl set bar. The old cut diamond of approximately half a carat is set in a square bezel, the sharp angles of which contrast stunningly with the organic shape of the flat-ish natural pearl.
Cut – The diamonds are old cuts.
Colour – Diamonds are J.
Clarity – VS.
Carat – Each of the larger stones is approximately 0.50 carat. The total estimated diamond weight across the pair is 1.90 carat.
Circa – 1910.
Measurements – The earring is 29mm long. Each of the pearls 7.3mm in diameter.
Metal – The diamonds are set in platinum. The rest of the piece is in 18k yellow gold. Tested.
