Edwardian Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Filigree Cluster Ring, circa 1905
A sublime early 20th century ring. The central sapphire is surrounded by eight old cut diamonds, with a further six diamonds (three eight side) set in the shoulders of the ring. Although all the stones are of the most wonderful quality – a cornflower blue sapphire and high white and vibrant diamonds – what really sets this ring apart is the phenomenally intricate and detailed filigree work. Utterly breathtaking.
