Georgian 0.70 Carat Rose Cut Diamond Cross Pendant, circa 1820

A charming cross pendant, set with 12 rose cut diamonds of differing shapes and colours. Each stone is rubover set in oxidised silver and assembled on a rose gold back. Very pretty and indisputably unique.

Cut – Pear shaped and round rose cuts

Colour – The colour is hard to assess as the diamonds are closed backed, but all the stones display a yellow or cognac hue.

Clarity – The clarity is hard to assess as the diamonds are closed backed, but they range from SI1 to SI2

Carat – An overall estimated carat weight of 0.70

Circa – 1820.

Measurements – The cross, not including the hoop, is 30.7mm by 22.7mm.

Metal – The diamonds are set in silver, with 9k rose gold back.
