KUTCHINSKY 1.77 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1950
A stunning engagement ring from Kutchinsky. The 1.77 carat old cut diamond – graded by HRD as I colour, VS2 clarity – is secured in a four claw square collet, with two pairs eight-cut diamonds set in the set-down shoulders. The curved, rolling detailing either side of the shoulder stones softens a design that is otherwise heavily influenced by the strong geometric forms of the late Deco period. A masterpiece from one of the premier London jewellers of the mid 20th century.
Comes in the original Kutchinsky presentation box.
Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000077671).
