Late 20th Century 0.75 Carat Ruby Split Shank Ring, circa 1965
A sleek and stylish ring with an oval cut ruby set laterally within a grooved split shank. Thirty-four round brilliant cut diamonds are set along the top of this striking and unusual piece. This would make either a fabulous dress ring or a wonderfully unique engagement solitaire.
Cut – Oval shaped step cut ruby and brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The ruby is SI1. The diamonds are VS.
Carat – The ruby is approximately 0.75 carat, with approximately 0.34 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1965.
Size – J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The band is 1.8mm at the base, widening to 8.9mm. Sits 5.2mm from the finger.
