Late 20th Century 0.80 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, dated 1973
A lovely stone from the later part of the 1800s in a lovely mount from the later part of the 1900s. The cushion shaped old out diamond is secured in an eight-claw crown collet. The shaped shoulders feature a rubover set eight-cut diamond crosshatch etched detailing leading to a D-shaped shank.

Carat – 0.80 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders add a further estimated 0.04 carat.

Measurements – The diamond is approximately 5.5 x 5mm and sits 7mm from the finger.
