Late 20th Century 1.23 Carat Tanzanite & Diamond Cocktail Ring, circa 1975
A bold and beautiful statement ring. The wire work band builds to an ornate cluster in which nestles twelve high white eight-cut and old cut diamonds. The crowning glory is an high grade intense violet-blue tanzanite. This is right up there as one of the most striking rings to ever feature in the Gatsby collection.
Cut – The tanzanite is a faceted round cut, the diamonds are eight-cuts and old mine / miner cuts.
Colour – The tanzanite is AAA. The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – All the stones are completely clear to the naked eye.
Carat – The tanzanite is 1.23 carat. The total estimated diamond weight is 0.18 carat
Circa – 1975.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The tanzanite is 6.25mm in diameter. The ring is 19.3mm at the widest point and sits 12.4mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
