Late 20th Century 1.40 Carat Emerald & Diamond Ring, circa 1980
A spectacular emerald and diamond cluster ring. The Zambian emerald in the centre – certified as have had only moderate clarity enhancement – is claw set in yellow gold and displays a rich, verdant green with a slight blush undertone. Ten high white and lively round brilliant cut diamonds of approximately 0.10 carat each surround the emerald in white gold coronet setting. A further two diamonds are set at the top of the white gold shoulders, leading to a slim yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by an emerald report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the emerald shows evidence of only moderate clarity enhancement, and originates from Zambia.
Cut – Oval cut emerald and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The diamonds are SI1 to SI2. All are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The emerald is approximately 1.40 carat with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.06 carat
Circa – 1980.
Size – R 1/2 (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The emerald is approximately 8.0 x 6.4mm The head of the 16.1 x 13mm and sits 7.1mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow and white gold. French hallmarks.
