Late 20th Century 1.63 Carat Padparadscha Sapphire & Diamond Ring, French, circa 1980

Padparadscha sapphires are as rare as they are beautiful. This stunning example displays a bright, vivid orangey pink, the colour of which is emphasised by the eight high white and clean round brilliant cut diamonds in the surround. The open gallery allows maximum light into the stones and leads to a wide, chunky 18k yellow gold shank.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire with round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The diamonds are exceptionally clean; VVS1 to VVS2.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.63 carat with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.60 carat.

Circa – 1980.

Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 15.75 x 13.85mm. Sits 7mm from the finger.
