Late 20th Century 1.80 Carat Sapphire & Diamond Ring, dated 1985
A bold and beautiful ring. Although dated from 1985 the design clearly takes inspiration from jewellery from the early part of the twentieth century. The milgrained bezel-set oval sapphire is a deep, rich blue, the colour of which is emphasised by the high white diamonds. The sixteen diamonds are presented in a intricately pierced cluster with asymmetrical shoulders.
Date marks from 1985 (London).
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30306839).
