Late 20th Century 3.00 Carat Natural Purple Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond Ring, dated 1975

A gorgeous natural purple sapphire ring. The striking lilac colour stone – certified as unheated and originating from Ceylon – is rubover set in white gold and surrounded by ten white and bright brilliant cut diamonds in a coronet setting. Fleur-de-lis shoulders conform to a slim, fluted 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G..
Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 3.00 carat, with approximately 0.25 carat of diamonds.
Dated – 1975.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 9.1 x 7mm. The head of the ring is 15.75 x 13.7mm and sits 6.7mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white and yellow gold. Hallmarked.
