Late 20th Century 3.54 Carat Old Cut & Tapered Baguette Cut Diamond Ballerina Ring, circa 1970
A beautifully crafted ballerina ring. The cushion shaped old cut in the centre – white, very lively and internally very clean – is encircled by an undulating row of twenty tapered baguette cut diamonds, atop a white gold shank with split shoulders. Sublime.

Cut – Cushion shaped old mine cut in the centre, with tapered baguettes.
Colour – The centre stone is H. The surrounding diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The centre is VVS2. The surrounding diamonds are VS1 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre is a known 1.44 carat. The approximate weight of the baguettes is 2.10 carat.
Circa – 1970.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 16.5 x 16.5mm. Sits 9.9mm from the finger.
