Late 20th Century 3.97 Carat Natural Green Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Ring, dated 1990

Item #: 95AB952.

Such an impressive sapphire. The natural and unheated stone displays on rich, olive-y hue with flashes of electric green. A pair of high white and internally clean round old cut diamonds flank the centre stone, leading to a slim and tapering yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and originates from Madagascar.

Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and old cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G.

Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The sapphire is 3.97 carat. Each diamond is approximately 0.15 carat.

Dated  – 1990.

Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is 9.65 x 7.36mm. Sits 6mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. Hallmarks from the London Assay.
