Late 20th Century Sapphire & Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1970

Elegant and classic. The rich blue sapphire in the centre displays distinct flashed of violet. The platinum set centre is flanked by white and lively brilliant cut diamonds, leading to a sturdy, court-shaped yellow gold shank. A little charmer.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2. The sapphire is clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 0.40 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.10 carat.

Circa – 1970.

Condition – The tarnishing to the gold can easily be polished away if you would prefer this looking “new.”

Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 5 x 4mm. Sits 4.4mm from the finger.

Metal – Stamped 18CT PLAT – 18k yellow gold and platinum – and tests as such.
