Mid Century 0.35 Carat Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1950
A super pretty vintage ring. This French stunner features a 0.35 carat (approx.) old European cut diamond in the centre, set in a six claw collet with an open gallery. The diamond sits within a sharply angular surround with fine piercing and milgraining, and eight (four each side) rose cut diamonds set in the shoulders. Fine, hand-cut geometric detailing in the gallery leads to a slender 18k white gold shank.
Cut – Old European cut diamond in the centre, with rose cut diamond accents.
Colour – J in the centre. The smaller stones are F to G.
Clarity – VS2 in the centre. The smaller stones are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – Approximately 0.35 carat in the centre, with a total approximate weight of 0.43 carat.
Circa – 1950.
