An elegant vintage sapphire ring. The round old cut sapphire in the centre is a rich and vibrant blue. The stone is secured in an eight-claw open collet above a scalloped back plate. Angular, almost bone-shaped shoulders lead to a slim D-shaped shank. A wonderfully pretty piece.

Cut – Old cut sapphire.

Clarity – Loupe clean.

Carat – 0.36 carat.

Circa – 1960.

Size – O 1/2 (UK) or 7.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available.

Measurements – The sapphire is 4mm in diameter and sits 2.9mm from the finger.
