Mid Century 0.47 Carat Old Cut Diamond Navette Cluster Ring, circa 1950
A perfectly proportioned vintage navette ring. At the heart of the ring is a white and bright old cut diamond of just under a third of a carat, with sixteen smaller eight-cut diamonds in a white gold coronet setting. On a slim and tapering yellow gold shank.
Cut – Old mine cut diamond in the centre with eight-cut diamonds in the surround.
Colour – The centre is I, with H to J diamonds in the surround.
Clarity – The centre is I1 (but clean to the naked eye). The smaller diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The centre is approximately 0.30 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.47 carat.
Circa – 1950.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the rings is 17.4 x 8.3mm and sits 5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow and white gold. Stamped and tested.
