Mid Century 0.57 Carat Old European Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1955

A super funky old European cut solitaire ring. The centre stone is secured in a ‘half rubover’ gold collet with a closed gallery, the whiteness of the stone emphasised by the yellow gold of the setting. Six (three each side) eight-cut diamond adorn the shoulders, leading to a slender, D-shaped shank.

Carat – Approximately 0.57 in the centre (with a further 0.12 carat in the shoulders).
