Mid Century 0.90 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1950
An exciting and unique vintage engagement ring. The cushion shaped old mine cut diamond in the centre is secured in a four claw platinum collet with sharp, chevron detailing in the gallery – shapes which are echoed by angular cheniers under the shoulders. Eight-cut diamonds are set at the top of the band on each side, with a further eight (four either side) eight-cut diamonds running down the shoulders to a slim, flat 18k white gold shank.
