Mid Century 0.90 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1960
A fabulously bright old cut diamond set in classic 18k yellow and white gold solitaire setting. The central diamond “spreads” to the size of an approx. 1.10 carat stone, making a big impact on the finger. Six (three each side ) eight-cut diamonds are set in the graduating spear-shaped shoulders to a slim D-shaped shank.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – K in the centre. H to I in the shoulders.
Clarity – I1 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – A known 0.90 carat in the centre. The total estimated weight of the diamonds in the shoulders is 0.10 carat.
Circa – 1960.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The centre stone is approximately 6.7mm in diameter. Sits 5.4mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18CT – 18k yellow and white gold – and tests as such.
