Mid Century 0.61 Carat Transitional Cut Navette Ring, circa 1950
A sublime, unique, and wonderfully pretty vintage ring. The transitional cut diamond in the centre is startlingly white and lively, and is flanked on either side by small eight-cut diamonds. The centre trilogy “floats” within a surround of eighteen eight-cut diamonds in a coronet setting which sits on a slim 18k yellow gold D-shaped shank.
Cut – Transitional cut diamond in the centre. The remaining stones are eight-cuts.
Colour – F in the centre. The smaller stones are F to G.
Clarity – VS1 in the centre. The smaller stones are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – Approximately 0.33 carat in the centre, with a total approximate weight of 0.61 carat.
Circa – 1950.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 16 x 8.7mm. Sits 5.25mm from the finger
Metal – 18k yellow gold. French hallmarks.
