Mid Century 1.00 Carat Diamond “Disco Ball” Ring, circa 1970
A supremely funky ring set with a mix of bright white diamonds. The central round cluster is pave set and open backed meaning it really does glint like a disco ball. Surrounded by two curved lines of tapered baguette cut diamonds; elegant and intricate workmanship. With further detailing where the band meets the cluster, this is a super playful design executed to the highest standard.
Cut – Brilliant rounds in the middle and tapered baguette cuts in the surround.
Colour – G; nearly colourless.
Clarity – All stones are SI1; totally clean to the eye.
Carat – Approximtely 0.25 carat in the disco ball and an estimated 0.75 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1970.
Size – Currently K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The setting is 19.2mm by 13.2mm and sits 5.6mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k (white) gold. Tested.
