Mid Century 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1945
A beautifully simple vintage diamond engagement engagement ring. The centre diamond – graded by HRD as L colour, SI2 clarity – displays a soft and subtle champagne tone, and is secured by four split claws within a open gallery. The spear-shaped shoulders are set with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds to a D-shaped platinum shank.
Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000034595).
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – L. (G in the shoulders.)
Clarity – SI2. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS21. All stones are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – 1.00 carat in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.06 in the shoulders.
Circa – 1945.
Measurements – The diamond in the centre is 5.80 x 5.91mm and sits 5.5mm from the finger.
Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
