Mid Century 1.00 Carat Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Earrings, circa 1950

A classy pair of sapphire and diamond cluster earrings. The oval cut sapphires are a rich, royal blue, the colour of which is emphasised by the eight (in each earring) eight-cut diamonds in milgrained, rubover settings.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour –The diamonds are G to H.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2. The sapphires are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – Each of the sapphires is approximately 0.50 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.32 carat

Circa – 1950.

Measurements – Each earrings is approximately 11 x 9.5mm.

Metal – The gems are set in 18k white gold atop 1n 18k yellow gold gallery. The posts and butterflies are 9k yellow gold. Tested.
