Mid Century 1.24 Carat Light Yellow Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1955
An extremely pretty mid century diamond engagement ring. The centre stone displays a distinct champagne tone, and is secured in an eight-claw collet with delightful “curtain” detailing in the gallery. The diamond set and milgrained tapering shoulders lead to a D-shaped platinum shank. A vintage classic.

Cut – Old European cut and eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – Light yellow in the centre (O), with F to G colour in the shoulders.
Clarity – The centre is SI1 (clean to the naked eye). The eight-cuts are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The centre is a known 1.24 carat, with an additional approximate 0.08 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1955
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The centre stone is approximately 6.9mm in diameter. Sits 6.1mm in diameter.
