Mid Century 1.24 Carat Old Oval Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1950
An utterly supreme diamond cluster ring. The oval shaped old cut diamond in the centre – spreading much larger than its 0.94 carat – is glowingly white. The centre stone is rubover set in 18k rose rose gold and is surrounded by fifteen bright rose cut diamond in a coronet cluster setting. The D-shaped yellow gold shank features distinctive twist detailing in the shoulders – a final detail on this most fabulous of rings.

Cut – Oval shaped old cut in the centre with rose cut diamonds in the surround.
Colour – G in the centre, with G to I in the surround.
Clarity – VS2 in the centre. The diamonds in the surround are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – A known 0.94 carat in the centre with a further approximate 0.30 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1950.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 12.95 x 11.25 and sits 5.75mm from the finger.
