Mid Century 1.25 Carat Rose Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1950
Wonderfully, wonderfully unique. The bright and high white rose cut diamond is set in a foil-backed closed-back setting. The stone is held, via six “claws”, over a scalloped back plate, with exquisite swirling detailing in the gallery leading to a fine, knife edge shank. A delightful and exciting twist on the classic solitaire.
