Mid Century 1.37 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1965

Item #: 47AB1201.

A wonderfully pretty and unique vintage diamond solitaire. The old mine cut diamond in the centre is high white, bright and very, very lively. The stone is secured in a square collet with each of the corner claws holding a small eight-cut diamond. Neat heart motif detailing leads to a slim, 18k white gold shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30307455).

Cut – Old mine cut (with eight-cuts in the claws).

Colour – G.

Clarity – SI3 in the centre. (SI1 to I1 in the claws).

Carat – A known 1.37 carat in the centre (with a further approximate 0.015 carat in the claws).

Circa – 1965.

Measurements – The diamond is approximately 6.5 x 6.1mm and sits 6.75mm from the finger.

Size – J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
