Mid Century 1.50 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1960
A fantastically unique and pretty ring. The centre diamond – coming in at a substantial (approx.) weight of 1.50 carat – displays a warm champagne hue and is rubover set in a hexagonal shaped collet. Nine baguette cut diamonds adorn each shoulder in three shaped rows, which leads to a sturdy yellow gold shank.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre, with baguette cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – K in the centre, G to H in the shoulders.
Clarity – The centre is SI1. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to SI1.
Carat – Approximately 1.50 in the centre, with an estimated 0.27 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1960.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The centre diamond, including the setting, is 7.7 x 7.6mm. Sits 6.4mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 750 – 18k yellow gold – and tests as such.
