Mid Century 1.70 Carat Pink Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1950

A heart-stoppingly lovely pink sapphire and diamond ring. The centre stone is the perfect pink; a bright, lively, bubblegum colour. The sapphire is secured by eight yellow gold claws and encircled by eight white and chunky old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are set within in a white gold coronet cluster, leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308995).
Cut – Oval cut sapphire and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to J.
Clarity – The sapphire is clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are SI1 to SI2, and also clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.70 with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.00 carat.
Circa – 1950.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 13.8 x 10.5mm and sits 6.2mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white and yellow gold. Tested.
