Mid Century 1.70 Carat Ruby & Diamond Pear Drop Earrings, circa 1970
An extremely lovely pair of ruby and diamond earrings. Each earring is topped by a ruby stud of approximately 1/3 of a carat, leading to an articulated drop featuring a pear cut ruby bordered by twelve high white diamonds. Stunning earrings that would equally suit being worn both formally or every day.

Cut – Pear cut and round cut rubies. The diamonds are round brilliant cuts and eight-cuts.
Colour – The diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – Some visible inclusions in the rubies, as is normal and expected in this gemstone. The diamonds are a SI1 to I1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The total approximate ruby weight is 1.70 carat, with approximately 0.40 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1970.
Measurements – From the top of the earring to the bottom of the drop is 20.9mm. The drop is 9mm at the widest point.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
