Mid Century 1.76 Carat Natural Burmese Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1950
A super lovely sapphire solitaire ring. The centre stone – certified as natural, unheated and originating from Myanmar (Burma) displays an incredibly bright, almost electric blue. The stone nestles within a scalloped collet and is secured by ten talon shaped claws. On a slim and tapering D-shaped yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut.
Clarity – SI3.
Carat – 1.76.
Circa – 1950.
Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 7.71 x 6mm. The head of the ring is 9.5 x 8.5mm and sits 4.5mm from the finger.
