Mid Century 1.79 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1950
A seriously impressive vintage engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD Antwerp as M colour, SI2 clarity – displays a distinct and bright light yellow hue. The stone is secured in a four claw square collet with an open gallery, allowing plenty of light to pass through this very lively diamond. Six (three each side) round brilliant cut diamonds are set in the shoulders, their whiteness contrasting beautifully with the soft yellow of the centre. Leads to a slim, slightly knife-edge shank
