Mid Century 1.83 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, French, circa 1960
A hugely impressive vintage diamond cluster ring. The 1.17 carat old mine cut diamond in the centre is secured in an eight claw open collet above a scalloped back-plate. The centre diamond and its setting ‘float’ within a surround of twelve white and bright eight-cut diamonds. The finely detailed under-gallery leads to a slim, platinum shank.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the surround.
Colour – The centre diamond is I with F to H in the surround.
Clarity – The centre is SI2. The surrounding stones are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The centre is 1.17 carat, with a further approximate 0.66 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1960.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 17.3 x 17.3mm. Sits 10.9mm from the finger.
