Mid Century 1.85 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1955
A rather fabulous vintage diamond ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD Antwerp as M colour, VVS2 clarity – is internally clean and decidedly lively. The stone exhibits a light champagne hue which is emphasised by the pair of high white round brilliant cut diamond set either side. The centre is set in a square collet with four triple claws. On a slim, knife edge platinum shank.
