Mid Century 11.00 Carat Star Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1965

A serious star sapphire takes centre stage in this beautifully unique ring. The bright, denim blue sapphire displays a clear asterism and is showcased in an eight claw open collet above a smooth – almost mirrored – backplate. Each shoulder is set with a high white and internally clean baguette and trapezoid cut, leading to a slim, D-shaped shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308742).

Cut – Round cabochon sapphire with baguette cut and trapezoid cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS1.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 11.00 carat with approximately 0.58 carat of diamonds.

Circa – 1965.

Size – S (UK) or 9 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is 12.6 x 12.2mm. Sits 7.9mm from the finger.
