Mid Century 12.88 Carat Natural Greenish Blue Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1960
A deeply impressive natural sapphire ring. The spectacular centre stone – certified as natural and unheated – displays a unique greenish blue. Sitting high off the finger to allow maximum light to pass through the sapphire, the mount features engraved detailing in the gallery leading to etched, spear shaped shoulders – each set with a small eight-cut diamond – to a slim shank adorned with a small heart either side. Wonderful on every level.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no indications of heating.
