Mid Century 1.78 Carat Sapphire & Ruby Cocktail Ring, circa 1960

So funky, so unique. This wild and daring vintage cocktail ring features a deep blue emerald cut sapphire laterally set in platinum. The centre stone sits within a concave gallery which is accented by six (three each side) baguette cut rubies leading to a wide flat yellow gold shank.

Cut – Emerald cut sapphire and baguette cut rubies.

Clarity – All the gems are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The sapphire is 1.78 carat, with a total approximate ruby weight of 0.20 carat.

Circa – 1960.

Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is 7.75 by 6.2mm. The ring is 12.4mm at the widest point and sits 4.6mm from the finger.
