Mid Century 1.86 Carat Sapphire & 0.66 Diamond Ring, circa 1965
Wonderful, daring, unique. The fabulous vintage dress ring features a cushion cut sapphire in the centre which displays a bright – almost electric – blue. The stone is secured in by six platinum claws and is flanked at the “north” and “south” by a pair of white and bright round brilliant cut diamonds. A further twenty round brilliant cut diamonds are set in the border of the oval shaped surround, leading to a striking wired gallery. Sits on an 18k white gold with a featuring split shoulder and crossover design.

Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamond.
Colour – The diamonds are F to H.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The sapphire is 1.86 carat. The two central diamonds are approximately 0.08 carat each, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.66 carat.
Circa – 1965.
Size – O 1/2 (UK) or 7.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 13.70 x 20.4mm and sits 8.4mm from the finger.
Metal – The head of the ring is platinum, the shank is 18k white gold. French hallmarks.
