Mid Century 19.80 Carat Aquamarine & Diamond Dress Ring, circa 1955

A beautiful beast of a ring. The cushion cut aquamarine is cool, glacial blue and is securing in a wonderfully flamboyant mount. Six (three either side) old cut diamonds are set either side of the centre stone, with four (two each side) rose cuts are set in the next step down. Glorious sweeping detailing the gallery add further detail to this most impressive of pieces.

Cut – Cushion mixed cut aquamarine. The diamonds are old cut and rose cuts.

Colour – The diamonds are H to I.

Clarity – The aquamarine is clean to the eye. The diamonds are VS2 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The aquamarine is a known 19.80 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.60 carat.

Circa – 1955.

Size – R 1/2 (UK) or 8 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The aquamarine is approximately 18.75 x 15.2mm. Sits 11.6mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. The diamonds are set in platinum. Tested.
