Mid Century 2.20 Carat Natural Ruby & 1.30 Carat Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1970
A striking and beautiful cluster ring. The glowing and almost impossibly bright ruby is framed by twelve high white brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds at the top and the bottom of the cluster are slightly larger than the other then, giving the cluster a slight marquise shape. An open gallery effectively lifts the cluster from the finger, allowing maximum light into the stones, and sits atop a slim and simple yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by a Ruby Report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the ruby is natural and unheated, and originates from Mozambique.
