Mid Century 2.60 Carat Opal & Transitional Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1960
A stunning opal and diamond cluster ring. The creamy Australian opal shows a lively play of colour with distinct flashes of green and orange, with sixteen transitional cut diamonds rubover set in the surround. The cluster sits slightly above the finger on a wired gallery, leading to split shoulders to a D-shaped yellow gold shank.

Cut – Oval cabochon opal and transitional cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are H to J.
Clarity – Diamonds are SI1 to I1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The opal is approximately 2.60 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.55.
Circa – 1960.
Condition – Some damage to the underneath of the opal. This doesn’t impact on the integrity of the stone and can’t be seen when the ring is on the finger.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 18.4 x 13.75mm. Sits 6.9mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow and white gold. Tested.
