Mid Century 2.70 Carat Cabochon Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1955
A high class emerald in a showstopper of a mount. The Colombian emerald in the centre displays a bright and glowing bluish green, and is surrounded by sixteen eight-cut diamond – including four in the raised claws. The simple double gallery leads to a slim white gold shank featuring etched and milgrained shoulders.

Cut – Oval cabochon emerald and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The emerald has come visible inclusions (as is expected of emeralds). The diamonds are VS2 to SI1; clean to the eye.
Carat – The emerald is approximately 2.70 carat, with an additional approximate 0.14 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1955.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 15.7 x 14.5mm. Sits 6.8mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 14K – 14k white gold – and tests as such.
