Mid Century 2.97 Carat Emerald & Old Cut Diamond Pear Drop Earrings, circa 1950
In a word: spellbinding. Featuring a pair of pear drop Colombian emeralds rubover set in yellow gold, and surrounded by high white old cut diamonds which graduate in size towards to bottom of the drop. Three articulated stones – a step cut emerald and a pair of old cut diamonds – complete what are and undeniable impressive and high quality pair of earrings.

Cut – The main emerald is a pear cut, with a step cut at the top. The diamonds are old mine cuts.
Colour – G to J.
Clarity – Some visible inclusions in the emerald (common for emeralds). The diamond are VS1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The total approximate emerald weight of 2.97 carat, with approximately 2.63 carat of old cut diamonds.
Circa – 1950.
Measurements – From top to bottom is 38mm. The pear drop is 12.55 at the widest point.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
