Mid Century 2.55 Carat Old Cut & Pear Cut Diamond Ring , circa 1955
A truly special diamond engagement ring. The old European cut in the centre – graded by HRD Antwerp as I colour, SI1 clarity – is secured by four double claws and sits between two equally white, bright and lively pear cut diamond weighing just under 0.50 carat each. This perfectly balanced trio of diamonds sits on a slim and tapering platinum shank.
Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#210000182322).
Cut – Old European cut in the centre with pear brilliants either side.
Colour – I (the pears are G to H).
Clarity – SI1 (the pears are VS2 and SI2 respectively).
Carat – 1.65 in the centre (with a further approximate 0.90 carat in the shoulders).

Measurements – The centre diamond is 7.35 x 7.63mm. From the outer edge of one pear to the other is 16.9mm and sits 6.5mm from the finger.
