Mid Century 3.00 Carat Amethyst & Diamond Cocktail Ring, circa 1965
This is right up there with the most unusual – and striking – rings we’ve ever held in our collection. Constructed from braided strands of yellow gold “rope,” with the knot detailing in the shoulders outlined by a semi-circle of high white eight-cut diamonds. A graduating line of deep purple amethysts run north to south, giving this dramatic ring the dramatic focal point it merits.

Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – All the stones are clean to the naked eye; VS1 to VS2.
Carat – Approximately 3.00 carat of amethysts and approximately 0.60 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1965.
