Mid Century 3.00 Carat Cat’s Eye & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1955
A wonderful, unique and daring Mid Century dress ring. At the top of the ring is bright and white old European cut diamond, rubover set in yellow gold and with a further scalloped circle of of gold to the outside of this setting. Stepping down from the diamond are twelve cabochon chrysoberyl, each in individual rubover settings and arranged in a two layers, with beading detailing between each cat’s eye of the bottom row. A spectacular and singular piece.
